Llanberis is a village in Gwynedd, lying on the southern banks of Llyn Padarn in Snowdonia, North Wales. It is the gateway to Snowdon (the highest mountain in England & Wales at over 3,000 ft) and an area rich in history, myth and legend. Noted for its rugged beauty and scarred with numerous slate mines.
